Today in Amsterdam...

Yesterday Amsterdam Fashion Week kicked off. The openingsnight started with Individuals. This brand is an initiative of the Amsterdam Fashion institute and features a changing collective of young creatives. The other name to show last night was The People of the Labyrinths. This succesfull Dutch brand gets the inspiration for their prints and patterns from labyrinths, and showcased the summer 2013 collection named 'Magic'.

It's the 18th edition of the fashion week in Amsterdam. For this edition, the shows will be held at a new, larger location. 'De Gashouder' can accommodate 1250 people. Amsterdam Fashion Week will take place untill Sunday, when Dutch designer Marga Weimans closes the event.
