It all began in 1903, on the West coast of Sweden: entrepreneur Marcus Schwartzman and his partner Hjalmar Nordström founded Schwartzman & Nordström. They wanted to turn the traditional tailoring methods uspide down and quickly they understood that the market wanted ready-made suits in top quality materials. One the early model was named Tiger and it become so popular that it quickly became the new name of the company. In 1997 Tiger of Sweden launched his first women's collection based on the same concept.
